Vanessa Hudgens and current beau Austin Butler have similar fashion sense, at least when it comes to their beach attire.

The love birds wore matching black and white outfits as they soaked up the sunny on Friday in Maui, Hawaii.

While her shirtless man hit the waves on a paddle board, 23-year-old Vanessa strolled along the sand.

The brunette beauty looked happy, relaxed and comfortable in a long black and white sundress.

She even showed off a little leg when she lifted up her dress to keep from falling while she walked around.

Once Austin finished riding the waves, the couple met up and grabbed something to eat.

A day earlier the High School musical actress was spotted wearing a red bikini and sharing a steamy kiss with her beau, leaving onlookers with no doubt as to who has Vanessa 's heart now.

The couple, who have been dating since last September, are clearly very much in the honeymoon period of their relationship.

Vanessa, who also dated co-star Zac Efron, looked stunning as she sported a tiny red string bikini in Hawaii.

When Vanessa and Austin started dating last year, friends said at the time that it was 'nothing serious', but the pair now seem to be inseparable.

They holidayed in Miami last month, visited Disneyland in Anaheim, California, and spent Christmas and New Year's together too.

Austin, who recently co-starred in the movie Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, alongside Vanessa's best friend Ashley Tisdale, is three years younger than the brunette beauty.

If Vanessa Hudgens and boyfriend Austin Butler didn't have their heads deep enough in the clouds as it is, they actually flew up to them yesterday after jetting out of LAX.

The 22-year-old and her beau, 20 , left the City of Angels yesterday, to continue their canoodling at 45,000 feet.

But the pair couldn't contain their passion as they checked into their flight, and shared a sweet and tender kiss.


The couple, who were first linked in September, had enjoyed a romantic lunch and stroll in the city's Burbank area, earlier in the day.

And she may be the bigger star of the twosome, but Hudgens gazed at Butler as if he was a demigod.

The High School Musical actress and her new beau stepped out for a spot of lunch, barely looking at the sidewalk to check where she was walking.

Since bidding farewell to Zac Efron last December, the star found herself a new specimen, with the pair becoming an item in September.

Clutching onto Butler's arm as if she might not manage to walk without him, Hudgens drifted along on in a happy daze in a pair of thigh-skimming shorts.

She teamed the shabby chic denim hotpants with knee-high boots, a baggy black and white sweater and a hippy headband.

Butler opted for an all-black ensemble, hiding his blonde locks beneath a beanie and finishing off the look with a leather jacket and jeans.

No doubt his new girlfriend will elevate his status due to her global fame, although he is already relatively well known in his native US.

Perhaps she will treat him to a trip to upcoming festival Coachella after raving about the music extravaganza on her blog.

As she posted a picture of the line-up online - which includes impressive headliners Foo Fighter, No Doubt and Radiohead - she wrote: 'Omg. Omg. Omg. I could die. But I can’t cause I have to experience this years Coachella!!!!! It’s going to be EPIC!!!!! I can’t waittttttt.'

The 22-year-old had a romantic day in Venice with new boyfriend Austin Butler yesterday and the pair could not get enough of each other.

The twosome went for lunch at the 26 Beach Restaurant before hopping on their bikes and riding down the boardwalk by the ocean front.

Vanessa would not even let Austin go as he stopped at the ATM to get some money out.

They then went for a leisurely stroll hand in hand and did a bit of shopping before heading home.

The pair have been dating since late summer and were first seen together at the 30th birthday party for her former co-star Ashley Tisdale's sister Jennifer.

They were then pictured smooching at Bob's Big Boy diner in LA later that night.

The former High School Musical star announced on her Facebook page recently that she is going to be sending holiday cards out to her fans and they could receive one by subscribing to her updates.

Vanessa has revealed that she got injured while shooting her upcoming movie Journey 2: They Mysterious Island.

The starlet admitted that she was to blame for the incident and now has a scar to show for it.

'We were shooting a scene down on the beach and there are just lava rocks everywhere,' she explained to About.com.

'I was walking backwards. Very smart. Before I knew it I was on the floor.

'I got up and brushed it off like nothing happened and then later on someone pointed at my leg and said, 'Is that real blood or fake blood?' Now I have a beautiful scar to show for it. We'll always remember this movie. It'll always be a part of me.'

The actress looked in fine form during her weekend excursion after piling on the pounds for another recent film role.

She put on weight to play character Agnes 'Apple' Bailey - a pregnant runaway in drama, Gimme Shelter.

Vanessa also chopped off her long brown tresses rather than wearing a wig and is now starting to grow her hair out.

The actress says she is happy to get away from her teen role and tackle grittier projects.

When speaking about her character in the film, Vanessa said: 'I'm so excited and proud of the work I've been doing and let me tell you, you all are going to be SHOCKED with how I look in this movie.
