Caribbean's Most Wanted: Single lady Michelle Keegan shows off her stunning figure on the beach

By Owen Tonks

She's one of the sexiest female soap stars of the moment and is often handed awards for looking good.

So it's hardly surprising Coronation Street star Michelle Keegan seems confident when it comes to choosing what to wear on the beach.

The actress, 25, sizzled in a white bikini as she played in the sea while on holiday on the Caribbean island of St Vincent last week.

Cooling off: Michelle looks smoking hot as she cools down in the Caribbean sea while staying at the Buccamnet Bay Resort on the island of St Vincent

Michelle, who plays Tina McIntyre in Coronation Street, stayed at the exclusive Buccament Bay Resort and relaxed on the beach during her time off.

She wore a white Vix bikini while she played in the surf as the waves gently broke on the sand.

The star appeared to be enjoying the benefits of a break in the sun and looked tanned and healthy as she enjoyed the warm sunshine.

While Michelle seemed happy to show of her enviable figure while on holiday, she recently admitted she doesn't consider herself sexy.

Feeling all white: Michelle insists she is much better in herself after ending her engagement to Max in April

Sizzling in the surf: Michelle looks happy as she splashes in the waves following her split from The Wanted singer Max George this summer

She told Hello! magazine: 'It makes me laugh that people think I'm sexy, because I'm not at all.'

And the actress also seemed in better spirits breaking up with her former The Wanted singer fiance Max George this summer.

On the split, she said: 'Obviously it was a very sad time for us, as we were together for 19 months. But I got to think of it as, "I'm not the only girl who has ever had a break-up".

'The worst part for me was having the whole thing played out so publicly. In the end, I had to simply ignore the gossip and throw myself in my work.'

And Michelle admits she is feeling much better now and that she was lucky to have a good support network of friends to rely on.

Making a splash: Michelle displayed an enviable figure and toned torso during her stay on the island of St Vincent

She added: 'I was really busy with some great [Coronation Street] storylines and my friends were amazing.

'But eventually you just have to let things go and get on with life. I'm in a much better place now.'

Michelle and Max first started dating in 2010 and the boyband star proposed to the actress with a £10,000 ring in April 2011.

The pair's busy work schedules are said to have put a strain on their relationship and they cancelled their engagement in April this year.

The romance finally ended in July when Max was seen kissing another girl during a night out.

'It was quite a shock... I had a momentary panic!' Peaches Geldof expecting her second child with husband Tom Cohen

By Louise Saunders

Peaches Geldof is expecting her second child with husband Tom Cohen.

The 23-year-old star is three-and-a-half months pregnant with a baby boy, and the couple have already picked out a name for their little bundle of joy, Phaedra, which is inspired by an ancient Greek play and one of the pair's favourite songs.

But with the couple only having welcomed their first son, Astala, into the world six months ago, Peaches admitted finding out she was pregnant again so quickly came as 'quite a shock'.

Happy news: Peaches Geldof and her husband, Tom Cohen, are expecting their second child together

She told Hello! magazine: 'I did have a momentary panic and go, 'Oh my God, we're going to have a one-year-old and a one-month-old! How will we cope?'

However, the television presenter explained her rocker beau immediately alleviated her doubts.

She added: 'Tom was so supportive and relaxed, it banished my doubts and I started imagining the two boys growing up together as the best of friends. There are massive benefits to having two children so close together.'

Peaches admitted she only took a test when she noticed she had been craving sour sweets as she had been throughout her first pregnancy, and she had already begun to develop a baby bump.

The former wild child also explained while she 'couldn't be happier' with her family life, she doesn't plan on adding to her brood any time soon.

She told Hello!: 'I don't think I'll be adding to our little brood until later on in my life when I'm older and don't have two toddlers running around demanding all of Tom's and my attention.

'I may be only 23 and the only one of our friends who's married, got a baby on the way and is on the verge of moving to Surrey, but it's a life I always dreamed of and I couldn't be happier.'

Cutie: Peaches posted this adorable snap of her son Astala and dog, Parpy, on to her Twitter page on Monday

Bundle of joy: Peaches and Tom are already proud parents to their six-month-old son, Astala

Struggles: Peaches has previously admitted that prior to falling pregnant, she was told she would never be able to have children

Despite her happy news, Peaches, the daughter of Sir Bob Geldof, recently revealed that prior to falling pregnant, she was told she would never be able to have children.

The doting mother-of-one knew conceiving would be difficult as she suffered from polycystic ovaries, and then experienced further problems three years ago when she was rushed to hospital after an ectopic pregnancy.-

She told Elle magazine: 'I was really upset because I always knew I wanted kids and then I was told I would need major intervention if that was to happen.'

Of her ectopic pregnancy, she added: 'I woke up in the night in the worst pain. It was like something was ripping me apart. I had no idea I was pregnant.

'I was taken to hospital and they discovered what it was. I was told if I had left it even three more days I would have died. But I had to have an operation and the doctor told me he'd have to remove my fallopian tube. I was crying and begging him not to.

'I woke up, he told me he'd saved the tube but it was badly damaged and my chances of having kids had gone from slim to almost non-existent.'

Happy couple: Peaches and Tom tied the knot in September

Very much in love! Mary Kate Olsen, 26, and Olivier Sarkozy, 42, pack on the PDAs at the basketball

By Lucy Buckland

Their relationship has been branded 'grotesque' by critics.

But Mary Kate Olsen, 26, and Olivier Sarkozy, 42, are doing their best to prove their haters wrong by packing on the PDAs at a basketball game.

The couple, who have been together nine months, seemed closer than ever at the Dallas Mavericks versus New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden on Saturday.

Look of love: Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy can't tale their eues off each other at the Dallas Mavericks vs New York Knicks game

Despite a 16 year age gap between them the pair have shrugged off any insinuation their romance won't last.

At the game it seemed difficult for the pair to tear their eyes off each other with Mary Kate opting for a casual look, with rough hair and a hoodie.

Meanwhile Sarkozy's ex-wife Charlotte, whom he divorced last year, has branded his relationship with Olsen as 'grotesque'.

Determined to prove them all wrong: Mary-Kate Olsen and Olivier Sarkozy cuddle up

Yet by all appearances, the cavalier half-brother of former French president, Nicolas Sarkozy isn't concerned with the criticism.

Meanwhile, dating older men seems to run in the family for the pint-sized uber-rich actresses-turned-fashion designers.

Mary-Kate’s twin sister Ashley Olsen was 21 when she dated biking super star Lance Armstrong who was 36 at the time - a 15 year age difference.

Joking around: Mary-Kate Olsen tries to look at her phone as her boyfriend plays a joke on his young love

Olivier is divorced and has two children with his ex-wife Charlotte, and he is the managing director of the Washington, D.C. based Carlyle Group.

Mary-Kate also has a history of dating high profile men.

She was linked romantically to Heath Ledger before his death and dated Greek shipping heir and Paris Hilton's ex Stavros Niarchos.

Kristmas come early: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick treat Mason to a shopping spree at Hamleys toy shop

By Hanna Flint

With Christmas just around the corner, Kourtney Kardashian decided to treat her son Mason to some early presents at London's most famous toy store.

The reality star treated her son Mason to a trip to Hamleys on Friday, bringing her partner Scott Disick along for the fun outing.

But Kourtney, 33, seemed to have forgotten that she wasn't in the States anymore, as she tried to pay for her purchases with American dollars.

Choo choo! Kourtney Kardashian plays with her son Mason at Hamley's toy store with Scott Disick in London

Kourtney and her sister Kim Kardashian, 31, have been in the Capital to launch their new clothing range.

Before the family got to the checkout, little Mason had great fun playing in the store.

The three-year old seemed particularly in awe of the store's large model railway, getting his father Scott, 29, to help him get a better look.

Family time: Scott and Mason seem more impressed by the trains than Kourtney

Doting Dad: Scott and Mason watch some toy trains go by as Kourtney looks on.

Animal friendly: Mason gets wild with the toys by picking up a stuffed reindeer and toy killer whale in Hamleys

Kourtney, however, looked far less impressed but played to doting mother when they came across a smaller train set.

Looking like he was in Santa's grotto, Mason dotted around the store, picking up toys and playthings including a stuffed reindeer.

And Kourtney's eldest seemed to have done pretty well out of the trip as she left with a very large Hamleys shopping bag.

Tropical: It may be cold in England but looks like this father and son are dreaming of warmer climes as they check out an palm tree and island play set

Good haul: A shop assistant helps the trio with their many shopping bags as they leave the store

Home time: Kourtney, Scott and Mason leave the store with a sop assistant carrying their bags out to a waiting car

But as they went to pay for the items, Mason got a little confused and gave the cashier a $100 bill instead of British pounds.

But Mason got to have one of his presents, as he carried a toy killer whale whilst the whole family made their way out of the shop.

Kourtney's youngest child Penelope - born back in July - must have been left with a babysitter and not her sister Kim.

Kanye's squeeze had left the Dorchester Hotel earlier in the day to take part in a photo shoot in Central London.

Scott had only just arrived in the capital today, to support his partner with the launch of the Kardashian Kollection for Dorothy Perkins.

Last time Scott visited London he wanted to gain some regal stature, so it's no surprise that after the trip the family headed over to Buckingham Palace.

Long day: Mason must have tired himself out in the toy store as his father Scott Disick gives him a lift out of the store

Daddy day care: Scott arrived earlier in the day on father to support his partner and sister-in-law Kim for the launch of the Kardashian Kollection

Flasher: Kim Kardashian shows some leg as she leaves the Dorchester Hotel for a photo shoot in Central London

Keeping warm: A thick fur coat protects Kim from the frosty weather but the lack of tights will certainly feel draft around her legs

He missed out on the launch party yesterday, but will likely be attending a second glamorous event hosted by the sisters at Movida nightclub on Friday night.

Taking some time out to do some adult shopping Kourtney left her boyfriend and son to keep themselves entertained whilst she was taken out by none other than Sir Philip Green.

The Topshop boss escorted the American reality star to Harrods department store in Knightsbridge.

Mum time: Sir Philip Green takes Kourtney Kardashian shopping at Harrods in London.

Ready for home: Kourtney jumps in a car with Sir Phillip Green and a male companion ahead of her joint partner with sister Kim at London's Movida nightclub

Family night out: On the other side of the pond Kris enjoyed dinner at BOA Steakhouse in West Hollywood, California

Louis, hot to foxtrot: Strictly fans get a Christmas treat as gymnast shows off that Olympic body for 2013 calendar

By Eleanor Harding

No doubt his legions of Strictly fans - and a certain Strictly judge - are dreading the moment when Louis Smith leaves the dancefloor for good.

But they won't have to mourn for long.

The 23-year-old gymnast is bringing out a calendar, just in time for Christmas.

Tribute: Louis Smith reveals his 'RIP Nan, missing you' tattoo for the month of December

While the topless photographs are sure to please his admirers, the Olympic medallist took some persuading to pose for the four-hour shoot - despite his impressive physique.

Speaking exclusively to the Mail, he said he was shy about showing off his body.

'I want to keep some dignity,' he said.

'I'm a sportsman and I do gymnastics. It's a very regimented sport, so I don't want to be someone who's stripping off like some reality TV star. It's not me.'

Brooding: Louis Smith poses for the July cover image

He's got the moves: Smith shows off some Strictly credentials for November

And if that wasn't enough to further endear him to Strictly audiences - and judge Darcey Bussell, who has made no secret of her liking for him - the photographs also revel a tribute to his grandmother inked on his back.

He began the tattoo in 2007, when he won his first major competition, with the phrase 'What I deserve I earn'.

when his grandmother, who became an inspiration for his career, died in 2009, he added the 'RIP Nan, missing you' design.

Serious: The Olympic gymnast sits solemnly with slightly more clothes on this time and with his medals draped over his knee for September

Happy: Smith smiles as he looks past the camera for April's image

The guardian angels came the following year; after he broke up with his long-term girlfriend from school.

The Official Louis Smith 2013 Calendar is available to buy now at www.louis-smith-official.com.

'That's quite ridiculous!' George Clooney's big sister blasts gay rumours... but says he'll never marry Stacy Keibler

By Hugo Daniel in Kentucky

He's dated a string of the world's most beautiful women.

But rumours about his sexuality have continued to follow George Clooney.

Now his sister Adelia Zeidler has set the record straight in her first ever interview - insisting her little brother is not gay.

Asked what she makes of rumours that her brother is secretly gay, the 52-year-old laughed and said: 'Yes that’s quite ridiculous, we don’t even listen when people say things like that anymore.

'I think he decided that in his life he could have the career or he could have a family and so when he decided to go full bore into the acting, that was where his focus was going to be.'

He's not gay! George Clooney's older sister, Adelia Zeidler, outside her home in Augusta, Kentucky; she has spoken out about her brother's sexuality

In fact Ada revealed that George has found it easy to bag pretty girls since his high school days.

She said: 'Well he had several girlfriends when he was going to high school down here. Never more than one at a time, he’s not that kind of guy.

'But he would go out with someone for a few months and then go out with someone else for a few months.

'He had longer hair in high school, it was more blonde, it didn’t really get dark until he was about 16 or so. And he was always very funny and girls like to laugh.

They'll never wed! George with his girlfriend Stacy Keibler

‘I think he was always pretty fair and honest with the girls he went out with.

'I don’t recall any of them feeling as though he had just broken their heart and dumped them unexpectedly, I think most of the relationships came to a kind of natural close. I don’t recall any angry phone calls or anything like that.'

But while she insists her brother is not gay, Adelia thinks it unlikely that he will marry his current girlfriend, Stacy Keibler.

Different lives: While George vacations in Italy and travels the world, his sister is a stay-at-home mom

Speaking from her home in Augusta, Kentucky, where they grew up, Adelia said: 'No I would say he probably will not get married.

'If I had to guess I would have to say no. I know everyone says "well Warren Beatty said he’d never get married and then he met Annette Bening" but you know that’s the only example people can think of, so it doesn’t bode too well.'

George was once married to actress Talia Balsam but the two divorced in 1993.

Family man: George keeps in close contact with his family, including mother NIna, left and his sister

Since then he’s had a string of gorgeous girlfriends including British model Lisa Snowdon, Italian beauty Elisabetta Canalis and currently Stacy - a stunning blonde actress and former wrestler.

Explaining her logic, Adelia, who goes by Ada, added: 'If he was going to get married he would want to be a husband and be somebody who would be there, who would have the time and the ability to focus on the family and the wife and the home and all of that.

'And in the business that he is in he has to be able to get up and go. The majority of actors don’t really make their marriages work.'

Sweeping away the cobwebs: George's mother Nina cleans a house
In fact Ada thinks for that same reason George, 51, will also never have children.

She explained: 'If he had children, when he was with them he would be concerned about his career and if he was working he would be concerned about the children and he doesn’t think it would be fair to split his focus.'

Recalling his first wedding, Ada confesses George didn’t even tell her he was married until after it happened.

She said: 'No I didn’t go. Yes it was [a quick thing]. I was not aware he was married until after he was married.

'I knew that they were thinking of it and all of that, but I believe the actual timing was a quick decision.'

A different world: George's sister drives an old Volvo car and lives in a tiny village a few doors down from their parents

Asked if their parents Nick and Nina - who also live in Augusta down the road from Ada - long for George to tie the knot again, Ada added: 'They think it’s his own business.

'None of us worry or wonder too much about it, he either will or he won’t. If we had to guess we’d say no.'

Even though George and Ada were born just one year and four days apart – it would be almost impossible to guess that they are brother and sister now. In fact she couldn't be more different from the well-groomed A-lister.

The full-time mum sports a rather unkempt appearance as she goes about her daily chores cleaning her home, feeding the children and giving them lifts in a battered old 80s-style Volvo with a broken headlight.

Welcome to Augusta! George's family still live in the tiny town where he was raised, with a population of 2000

However the mother-of-two did find it very strange when her brother was crowned World’s Sexiest Man by People magazine.

She said: 'It is rather odd to see my baby brother being touted as the World’s Sexiest man - I have a little difficulty seeing that. Granted I can look at him and see he’s very attractive but of course being his sister it’s a little odd.

'I think he rather enjoyed getting teased about it (by the family).'

George and Ada’s aunt was the famous American singer and actress Rosemary Clooney and their dad Nick was a TV news anchorman– so showbusiness was very much in their blood.

And although both siblings took an early interest in acting, appearing in many school plays, it was George who decided to take the gamble and go off to Hollywood to follow his dreams.

Meanwhile Ada got married and had two children - Jennifer, now 21, and Nicholas, now 16 – while holding down different bookkeeping jobs.

Small town life: The store owned by George's mother, Nina

Her cheeky younger brother used to tease her about wanting to be like June Cleaver, a 1950s sitcom character seen as the archetypal suburban mum.

She said: 'I worked at Toys R Us and Kohl’s. I enjoyed it, but mostly it was a way to get the money to come home and pay the rent and those sorts of things. I really enjoyed being a wife and a mother and that kind of wound up taking precedence with me.'

Tragically Ada’s husband Norman, an artist, died suddenly of a heart attack in 2004 aged just 47 and she had to quit work to look after the children full time.

The actor, who was 71, passed away in Tenerife on Friday morning.

He is survived by wife Alma, son Carl and daughter Sara.

Passing: Actor Bill Tarmey, aka Coronation Street's Jack Duckworth, has died aged 71

A statement from the family of the actor read: 'The family of Bill Tarmey have confirmed that he sadly passed away this morning in Tenerife.

'They have respectfully asked the media for privacy as they grieve for a wonderful husband, father and brother.'

And a statement from ITV soap Coronation Street read: 'The cast, crew and production team at Coronation Street are devastated to hear of Bill's death.

'Our thoughts and prayers are with Bill's wife and soulmate Ali and their family at this very sad time.'

Screen star: Tarmey as Jack with his on-screen wife Vera Duckworth (Liz Dawn) and Julie Goodyear as Bet Lynch in a scene from the show in May 1983

National treasures: Jack and Vera Duckworth are one of the most famous soap couples in history

Actor Charlie Condou, who plays Marcus Dent in Coronation Street, shortly after the news was announced: 'I am devastated to hear that the wonderful Bill Tarmey has died. He was a beautiful, funny and lovely man, and he will be missed by us all.'

Antony Cotton - who plays Sean Tully - wrote: "Goodnight Bill Tarmey. You were the best. We'll miss you so much x'

Tributes also flooded in from the entertainment world, with This Morning presenter Eamonn Holmes writing: 'RIP Bill Tarmey aka Jack Duckworth. Known him for many years - always remembered the small things. Ruth & I getting more like Jack & Vera. (sic)'

A life-long heavy smoker, Tarmey suffered from ailing health over the years. He had a heart attack in 1976, followed by a stroke in 1977, and underwent a quintuple heart bypass in 1986.

Departure: When Tarmey retired in 2010, his character Jack was written out of the soap by peacefully dying in his armchair at No. 9 Coronation Street

Speaking about his illness following a second heart attack in 2002, which saw him fitted with a pacemaker afterwards, Tarmey said: 'I'm deeply worried.

'I have cheated death so many times I feel like a cat running out of lives.

'I've already died twice and the last time they brought me back to life using a medical version of jump leads.'

Tarmey also long refused to give up smoking, saying in one interview: 'I could make it easier on myself. I could give up smoking. I could go and sit in a rocking chair.

'But that wouldn't be me. That would kill me sooner than the old ticker would.'

Tarmey quit Coronation Street in April 2010 to spend more time with his family, after 30 years playing Duckworth.

His decision to leave also came as his son Carl is battling a life-threatening brain tumour.

Tarmey said: 'You would have had to drag me kicking and screaming from the Street.

'It was my life and I loved it. But I needed to be with my family and Carl.'

His final scenes in the show saw Jack dying peacefully in his armchair at No.9 Coronation Street after attending his 74th birthday party at the Rovers Return pub.

He said at the time: 'People often ask me if I like Jack Duckworth and I always reply, "Like him, I bloody love him!" I have had the most amazing 30 years playing Jack.

'Because of him I have made some fantastic friends and travelled all over the world and I will be sorry to say goodbye to Jack.'

Family comes first: One of the main reasons for Tarmey quitting Coronation Street in 2010 was to look after his son Carl, who is battling a life-threatening brain tumour

Tarmey was born in Ashton-under-Lyne on April 4 1941, and was just three years old when his ambulance driver father, William Snr, was killed by shellfire as he ferried casualties to a field hospital in Uden, Holland.

The family grew up with little money and Tarmey left school to enter the building trade. He married his childhood sweetheart Alison - to whom he remained married for 50 years - and they had two children.

Before joining Coronation Street, he struggled to make ends meet and said one incident involving his young son brought home to him the importance of money.

The little boy came home upset one day because he had been dropped from his football team.

Tarmey recalled: 'I couldn't understand it and went to see the trainer, who told me he had been dropped because he wouldn't take goal kicks.

'His football boots were too small, but he was too afraid to tell me because he knew I couldn't afford a new pair.

'I went home and cried that night. I vowed that I'd never be poor again.'

Despite his TV fame, music remained Tarmey's first love and over the years he released a host of cover versions and big band numbers.
