He is a fresh-faced boy of 18 - but Harry Styles has proved he's got more business sense than most boys his age.

Not for him frittering away his hard-earned cash on drugs, sex and rock 'n roll.
Instead, the One Direction superstar, whose band is worth a staggering £100m, has invested a hefty chunk of his earnings in bricks and mortar.

It was reported today that Styles, who found fame on Simon Cowell's X Factor two years ago, has just purchased a £3m mansion in an exclusive area of North London - and the spacious four-bedroomed pad is already being dubbed Harry's Party Palace.

The impressive stucco-fronted house, which has previously been advertised on property finding website primelocation.com, boasts 2,300sq ft of living space, with a large rear south-west facing garden, already equipped with Ibiza-style loungers.

There are four spacious bedrooms, three bathrooms and three reception rooms, making the house perfect for entertaining. And to satisfy any burgeoning passion for cars, there are four spaces to park cars off-road, as well as a double car lift - all very 007...

Until now, Styles, who is currently single but has been linked to various women this year, including Caroline Flack and Cara Delevingne, had been living in a flat in the East End of London but wanted to move closer to friends - including 28-year-old Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw, who lives near by.

Being over- or under-dressed to an event is something all women worry about on occasion.

So it must be nice if somebody is on hand to lay out the most suitable clothes for you.

Unless, of course, the event is being held to celebrate the culture of a particular nation in the South Pacific. And somebody lays out traditional clothes from a different nation. And you are one of the most photographed women in the world. And you accidentally offend over half a million people.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in Honiara, Solomon Islands, on 16 September, wearing gifted clothes that are actually from the Cook Islands.

So spare a thought for the Duchess of Cambridge who, during a recent party in the Solomon Islands, wore what she had assumed was a traditional national dress to an event celebrating the islands' culture...only to later discover that the dress was actually from the Cook Islands, some 3,000 miles away.

Kate and William were meant to have dressed as Solomon Islanders to the party in the capital of Honiara on 16 September, part of their Diamond Jubilee tour of the Far East and South Pacific.

The sartorial agreement between the government of the Solomons and Clarence House was that the Duke and Duchess would attend the event wearing, respectively, a traditional handmade shirt and traditional dress.

But the gaffe occurred thanks to a woman named Kethie Sunders, an over-enthusiastic member of the Solomon Islands' welcoming committee, who laid out the wrong clothes in the young royals' suite.

Ms Sunders nipped in to the bedroom before the Duke and Duchess arrived, excitedly adding some more gifts of clothing to the ones already laid out inside.

But when the royals arrived, their entourage noticed that the clothes in the suite - a bright blue patterened shirt for William and an elaborate strapless fuchsia dress for Kate - did not match the descriptions of the ones that had been agreed on.

A spokesman for Clarence House told MailOnline: 'We saw they weren't the same design of the traditional clothes we were told would be gifted.

'So we checked with the Solomon Islands government to ensure the right ones were worn.

'We were reassured the clothes were correct, and so the Duke and Duchess wore them to the event.

'It was not learned until later in the evening that the clothes weren't from the islands.

'But it was understood that the Duke and Duchess intended to wear traditional Solomon Island clothes and this was appreciated. No offence was caused.'

An official from Government House of the Solomon Islands said: 'We are incredibly frustrated that this situation has come about and see Kethie as entirely to blame.

'It was completely inappropriate for her to go to Their Royal Highnesses' room, which she filled with various things, causing confusion.'

Kate did not manage to wear the actual Solomon Islands dress during the tour, since her outfits had already been planned out for the whole trip, but she did return to England with both dresses.

Her spokesman said: 'She still has both dresses, they were a gift, and she also has lovely memories of her wonderful time in the Solomon Islands.'

And speaking about Miley's appearance on the show, Cryer, who took home the Emmy award for Best Comedy Actor for his role in the programme at the ceremony on Sunday night, said she will surprise the show's fans.

He had been one of the favourites to win The X Factor, after wowing viewers with his incredible voice and sexy looks.

But after being sensationally axed from the ITV programme after the bootcamp stage of the show last weekend, single father Joseph Whelan has hit out at the series - accusing it of being a fix.

Whelan made the claims as he blasted bosses for putting through Rylan Clark instead, insisting the Essex-born star got through to judges' houses on his looks and personality instead of his vocal talent.

He told The Sun: 'Rylan has a great look and great personality – but the man can’t sing!'

Whelan, who was tipped as a favourite among fans after performing Led Zeppelin's Whole Lotta Love in his first audition, added that he had no idea he was going to be axed from the show, because bosses had been continually tipping him for success.

He said: 'The X Factor set me up for a fall. They shafted me by praising me so highly – then sending me home.

'He just can't sing!' Whelan also accused bosses of wanting to cause controversy by putting through eccentric star Rylan Clark

'I nailed all three of my performances and didn’t get one negative comment from the judges. So I was in complete shock when they kicked me out.

'But the X Factor loves controversy. They obviously decided the backlash was worth getting rid of me for.'

However, after hearing Whelan's comments, Rylan was quick to respond, using his Twitter page to launch a foul-mouthed rant.

Whelan then wrote on his Twitter page: 'Please guys don't blame @RylanClark for the @TheXFactor decision. He is a great guy and I wish him all the best. He is born to be a celeb X'

Along with Rylan, the other boys going through to the judges' houses stage of The X Factor are Jahmene Douglas, Jake Quickenden, James Arthur, Nathan Fagle-Gayle and Adam Burridge.

'Maybe I’ll beat the winner to the Christmas No1 this year.'

An X Factor spokesman told The Sun of Whelan's fix claims: 'The standard is very high this year and not all acts can make it through to the next stage.'

'I've lost control': Imogen Thomas admits she's struggling with pregnancy weight gain as she poses for unairbrushed photoshoot

Imogen Thomas has revealed she has 'lost control of her body' after becoming pregnant.

Far from embracing the lumps and bumps that come with impending motherhood, the former beauty queen says that she hates the cellulite and stretchmarks that comes with having a baby.

The glamour model who is five months pregnant says she has gained a stone and feels out of control especially when making her food choices.

Speaking to Now Magazine, the former Big Brother contestant said, ‘I know it’s natural and it’s just my body preparing for childbirth, but I hate how big I’m getting!'

'I’ve always been a control freak about my body, but now I’ve definitely lost control... I’m eating crisps every single day and I’ve got a whole cupboard full of chocolate, biscuits and crisps. My boyfriend saw it and said he was disgusted!'

Before Imogen, 29, found out she was pregnant, she always thought her favourite part of having a baby was a growing tummy: 'I always said if I got pregnant I’d love a big belly...[but] I’ve got a tilted womb so it pushes the baby out so I look bigger.'

Demi Moore, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson are just a handful of celebrity mothers who have displayed a proud pregnancy figure on the covers of magazines. But for Imogen, a former size 10 who weighed 9 stone, is all too aware of where her baby weight is going:

'I’m putting on weight on my sides and I’ve got bingo wings. It’s depressing. And my hips have got a lot wider. I tried my jeans on the other day and I couldn’t even get them half way up my leg!

'I’m really scared about my stretchmarks, too.'

Imogen's modelling agency seem just as concerned for her career, telling the soon-to-be mother that unless she can get her body back in shape it's doubtful she could return to modelling. This is a scenario Imogen is all too aware of, as she points out, 'I'm nearly 30 and I'm competing with 18-year olds'.

Today Imogen shot down reports that she hated her baby bump via Twitter:

'THE @TheSunNewspaper 2DAY IT SAYS I HATE MY BABY BUMP.THIS IS TOTALLY UNTRUE.I LOVE MY BABY BUMP SO MUCH AND IT CLEARLY SAYS THAT IN @NOWMAG'

But with another 4 months to go before her due date, it's no surprise that the model has already cooked up a post-pregnancy plan of action:

'I want my size 10 body back within four weeks. As soon as the baby’s born, I’ll be on a diet and working out like mad every single day as much as I can... I want to be a yummy mummy.'

And Imogen's obsession to get her svelte figure back means that if 'every diet under the sun' doesn't give her a flat stomach, than she would 'never say never' to going under the knife.

However, these body image concerns aren't new to Imogen who says she's been 'called fat everyday of [her] life by bullies.'

Sadly, the former beauty queen's weight issues seem to have placed added pressure on her who already worries about giving birth:

'I’m really scared – I keep thinking I’m going to die! I’ve read a lot of stuff where things can go wrong. I don’t mind a bit of pain, it’s natural and everyone deals with it differently.'

'I don't believe in marriage': Although Imogen Thomas says she and boyfriend Andy Horsley will move intogether after the birth, there are no plans to wed just yet.

By her side is boyfriend Adam Horsley, 26, a city trader who Imogen has only been dating for a year.

The couple plan on moving in together after the birth but as yet there are no plans to tie the knot, with Imogen saying she 'doesn't believe in marriage.'

Another front-row seat: Harper swaps fashion for football during a day out with doting daddy David Beckham

She's already begun her sartorial education by attending some of the world's most-coveted fashion shows alongside her designer mummy, Victoria Beckham.

But this weekend, little Harper spent some time swotting up on the other Beckham family business - football.

Stepping out in Los Angeles with her doting daddy David, the 14-month-old tot watched her older brothers Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, in action on the pitch.

But his efforts were in vain, with little Harper demonstrating nowhere near as much excitement as she did at Victoria Beckham's New York Fashion Week show earlier this month.

'I felt so embarrassed and ashamed': Tulisa reveals sexually attack horror at 16 after her drink was spiked

Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed she was sexually assaulted after being drugged when she was 16.

Recalling what started as a night out in friends in her new autobiography, the singer revealed how her 'fearless nature' put her in some horrible situations.

The now 24-year-old recalled how she had seen her friends putting pills in people's drinks and told them that she didn't want to get involved on the night the alleged attack took place.

In the book Honest: My Story So Far, which is being serialised by The Sun, Tulisa admits she even lied about having a heart condition in a bid to preventing her drink wouldn't get spiked.

As the evening progressed, she recalls all of a sudden feeling 'abnormally drunk', despite only having a few drinks.

Following a few dizzy spells, the Camden-born singer soon lost her footing and was escorted out of the club for fresh air.

Still haunting to talk about, Tulisa remembered: 'The next thing I remembered was waking up. lying in the back of a cab and seeing the street lights whizzing past me through the windows. I felt completely out of it, and I blacked out again.'

The next time the Young singer came around, she was in a strange bedroom.

Then... Tulisa rose to fame alongside cousin Dappy and Fazer as a member of N-Dubz

Now... The 24-year-old revealed that she never reported the attack to the police

And worse still, in regaining consciousness to her horror she found that her friend was having non-consensual sex with her before passing out again.

'I couldn't even move, let alone get up or speak, and once again I just blacked out. When I finally woke up in the morning I found myself in a strange house'.

In the morning as Tulisa tried to come to terms with what the person she had considered a 'friend' had done, she found herself greeted with a kind gesture.

The mother of the boy believed that the MOBO award-winner star was her son's girlfriend and offered to make her a cup of tea.

She admitted that she felt 'so embarrassed and ashamed' that she failed to tell the boy's mother what had really happened.

She continued: 'I went into the bathroom and burst into tears. Then I pulled myself together, got dressed, and left without saying another word, crying all the way home.'

Eight years on and the former N-Dubz star revealed that person who allegedly attacked her was never brought to justice as she never reported the crime.

Stating that she has now 'come to terms' with the ordeal, Tulisa did say that although she spoke out to friends about what had happened to her, confusion and her age played a big part in her not being courageous enough to seek police help or tell her family.

But ever the fighter, the singer boldly stated that had the attack taken place now, it would be a very different story given her newfound personal strength.

‘Charlize and Eric get along incredibly well,’ says a source close to the actress. ‘They started off as friends but things are blossoming between them.’

The insider added: ‘Eric is down to earth and funny and Charlize thinks the world of him. It’s early days but they’re very fond of each other.’

Charlize, who adopted a boy called Jackson in May, broke off her engagement to Irish actor Stuart Townsend in 2010.

The South African actress brought her African-American baby home at just nine days old, but the adoption process took her two entire years.

In May, she gushed about becoming a mother and spoke about the simple joys of changing nappies.

Speaking on The Today Show, the 5ft 10in beauty revealed: 'I love it! I’ve got to tell you, I’m available for other babies' diapers to be changed. I can do it in my sleep now. I am so good.

'I now know how to change a Japanese diaper, a Spanish diaper, an English diaper, a German diaper. I’m like the diaper pro now.’

She added: 'The one thing I’m grateful beyond anything else is that she [Charlize's mother Gerda] raised me to always encourage me to be my own person… and that teaches great independence.

While Charlize has been linked to Prince Harry and Keanu Reeves in the past, she spent nine years with Townsend, with whom she starred in 2002's Trapped and later Head in the Clouds (2004).

The household name went on to star in Snow White and the Huntsman earlier this year.

Theron has also taken centre stage in hits like The Devil’s Advocate, The Cider House Rules and last year’s Young Adult.
