As the long-suffering girlfriend of James 'Arg' Argent, Lydia Bright often finds she has to compete for his attention with his best friend Mark Wright.

But there was no chance of The Only Way Is Essex star fading into the background in this revealing dress.

The fashion blogger, 20, stood out from the crowd in a sheer pannelled maxi dress at the gang's regular hangout, Sugar Hut nightclub in Brentwood last night.


Lydia accessorised her eye-catching dress with a pair of black platform wedges, oversized earrings and lashings of red lipstick.

Joined by wedding singer boyfriend Arg and his best friend Mark, Lydia partied at the popular venue until the early hours of the morning.

While most of the stars on the ITV2 reality show wear similar outfits, Lydia has always followed her own style.

She loves to buy and sell clothes on eBay and write about her purchases in her fashion blog.

She was thrilled in January when her boyfriend Arg bought her a pair of Christian Louboutin heels - until she realised they were in the wrong side.

But fans of the show will remember Arg's most spectacular gift ever - when he bought her a piglet, who she named Mr Darcy.

In a bid to convince Lydia he was serious about her following their reunion in series 1, Arg mistakenly bought her a normal-sized pig when she had asked for a micro pig.

Arg, Lydia and Mark are currently filming the second series of The Only Way Is Essex.

The first series last autumn was a surprise success, with over 1million viewers tuning in to watch the antics.

Since the show ended, the reality stars have become regulars on the London celebrity circuit - ironically seeming to spend less time in their home county than usual.
