She may have bade farewell to Hermione, but Emma Watson can still cast quite a spell.

The beguiling Brit's latest victim is chat show host and comedian, Jimmy Fallon, who danced up a storm with the Harry Potter star on his show last night.

During Watson's interview on Late Night, Fallon, 37, showedfootage of a dance rehearsal from her new movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

This inspired him Fallon to ask her if she could teach him a few moves.

'Yeah, for sure,' Watson readily agreed, before asking: 'Are you down?"'

Watson then led Fallon on to the stage and put him throw his paces with a number of musical classics.

This included jazz hands from Singin' in the Rain, the carnival sequence from Grease and the Dirty Dancing lift.

The Perks of a Wallflower is a coming-of-age story based on the bestselling novel by Stephen Chbosky, and sees Emma star alongside Logan and Ezra of We Need to Talk About Kevin fame in the story of an introvert freshman who is taken under the wings of two seniors.

Emma plays the role of Sam, Patrick's (played by Miller) free-spirited step-sister, whom Charlie (played by Lerman) falls for.

What a hoot: The stars obviously enjoyed performing with one anotherTalking about the movie recently, Emma said she is hoping it allows her fans to see a different side to her, rather than her Harry Potter alter-ego Hermione.

She said: 'I hope what Harry Potter fans can see is that I am able to transform, that there are other sides of me that perhaps they haven't seen yet, and that they might allow me a little bit of room.

'Just doing American really is different. People have said to me that they keep forgetting it's me when they see the movie, which for me is more than enough. That's a success in itself for me, really.'

As the saying goes you're only young once and it's important to show off your best assets while you still can - well at least while it's still appropriate.

Emma Watson was spotted with a friend running for a cab on Robertson Boulevard wearing a pair of very short shorts.

The actress, 21, and her girl pal had reportedly just left the Intermix boutique when Watson dashed to catch them a cab, showing off just how trim her legs are.


The Harry Potter starlet wore a pair of black denim jeans shorts and a black vest top.

Sticking to the rules of showing off some skin, the 21-year-old actress also wore a long floral shirt which covered most of her top half.

Keeping the outfit causal, Watson donned a pair of brown work man boots and tied part of her short brunette hair up.

Last month it emerged that Watson had to put her dream of building an eco-friendly clothing empire on hold because her line for ethical label People Tree had failed to sell.

Emma, who has also collaborated with Italian designer Alberta Ferretti in the past, is now concentrating on her studies at Oxford University instead.

A source close to the actress and model said, 'Emma was so disappointed.'

‘But even at knockdown prices, the clothes were still sitting on the shelves. She’s also stalled on plans to do more with Ferretti because she doesn’t have time.’

Watson is currently in Los Angeles filming her new movie The Bling Ring which is about six Hollywood teenagers who burgled celebrities' homes.

The movie is based on a true story which saw stars including Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan all targeted by the gang between October 2008 to about August 2009.

Whilst on set Emma debuted her new look for the role, sporting longer locks after getting hair extensions put in.

The Sofia Coppola project commenced filming in late March and is set for release next year.

It is the second time the story will be portrayed on film, as a Lifetime movie starring Austin Butler and Jennifer Grey was shown on television last year.

And it seems that Emma was in great spirits as she appeared to manoeuvre her friend’s gear stick and stretched her hand out towards the steering wheel.

Emma had attended the film screening at the Landmark Theatre on Monday night which had seen stars Ryan Reynolds accompanied by his good friend Sandra Bullock, Olivia Wilde and Jason Bateman walked the red carpet.

The 21-year-old first appeared on the big screen as a long-haired Hermione Granger in 2003.

She kept the trademark brunette tresses throughout the eight instalments before chopping her locks into a pixie-style cut last year.

In an interview with GQ, Emma admitted he had become reliant on drink to help him cope with life in the spotlight.

She looked as though she didn't have a care in the world, possibly expressing some relief that one of the hardest nights over her life had reached its climax.

In the run-up to the world premiere of the final Harry Potter film, Emma Watson had been reaching her target audience with a string of interviews with teenage magazines.

But as she prepares to make the move from child actor to adult film star after closing the book on her Potter character Hermione, it looks like the actress is determined to show her grown-up side.

The 21-year-old is dripping in the latest designer creations from the likes of Yves Saint Laurent to Emilio Pucci in the new issue of Harper's Bazaar UK.

As well as modelling some key looks from the upcoming autumn/winter collection from some of the world's top fashion houses, Watson also opens up on why really she left America's Brown University.

She tells the August issue of the magazine: 'Leaving Brown had nothing to do with bullying, as the media have been suggesting recently.

'I have never been bullied in my life. Like a lot of other students at Brown, I might spend my third year abroad.'

Although Watson is still musing over where to complete her studies, it appears her native England is unlikely to be an option.

When asked why she didn't originally chose an English university, Watson explained: 'I felt suddenly very claustrophobic...I thought, "I can’t stay here, I won’t be able to concentrate, I won’t be left alone."'

Since enrolling at university, Watson has been taking acting classes and admitted she was struggling to unleash her inner bad girl.

She said: 'My acting tutor said the hardest thing for me was to get angry. I almost broke down in tears when they tried to get me to be angry. I said, "I can’t do it, I just can’t do it."

'I keep all of that really bottled up somewhere and I feel unleashing it would be the scariest thing – and to let myself be powerful, sexy, all those things, it’s scary for me. [Even playing the bad girl in this shoot] felt a bit uncomfortable and awkward, it didn’t come naturally at all.'

While Watson is hoping to continue her acting career, she admits she finds Hollywood petrifying.

She admitted: 'LA scares the c**p out of me.

'I feel if I have to work out four hours a day, and count the calories of everything I put in my mouth, and have Botox at 22, and obsess about how I look the whole time, I will go mad, I will absolutely lose it.'

Watson is scheduled to attend the world premiere of Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part II in London's Trafalgar Square next Thursday.

The 21-year-old, who plays Hermione in the hit franchise, fell for Felton while filming of the first two movies.

The actor is famous for his role as Harry Potter's nemesis, Draco.


'He was my first crush,' Watson tells the new issue of Seventeen magazine.

'He totally knows. We talked about it - we still laugh about it. We are really good friends now, and that's cool.'

While Felton, now 23, went on meet his current girlfriend Jade Olivia, Watson is still struggling to find love.

She admits that when it comes to dating, she is a terrible 'game player.'

'But my friends are like, "You can’t do that! You have to string this guy along."'

'It's a nightmare,' she concluded. 'I definitely haven't figured it out yet.'
