Ready for the pool party! LeAnn Rimes runs to the grocery store for Memorial Day provisions... in a bikini and shorts

Like many Americans, LeAnn Rimes was spending the Memorial Day holiday surrounded by loved ones in the sun.

But it appears the country singer wasn't quite prepared for her pool party on Monday after she spotted dashing out to a local store in a bikini for emergency provisions.

Picking up a few more snacks for her family gathering from a Ralph's grocery store branch in Calabasas, the 29-year-old was wearing a bikini, string kaftan and denim short shorts.

Given her Twitter statuses, she literally jumped straight from the pool to the store as she arrived at a branch of Ralph's with her wet hair scrapped up in a bun.

And it looks like she was cooking Mexican food for her soiree with her parents, husband Eddie Cibrian and his two sons.

She tweeted: 'Happy Memorial Day everyone! Grabbing the little ones and headed for the pool. Fun day ahead!! Hope you all have a fantastic day!!

'Made tacos for the fam. Now, headed to a friend's house for more food. #gluttonday.'

When making her grocery excursion, she admitted she was surprised to see paparazzi outside the store.

She wrote: 'Don't paparazzi take memorial day off?! Geez...'

When a Twitter follower asked how her hair was, she replied: 'It's up in a wet bun at the grocery sto (sic).'

At home, was her mother Belinda, who showed off her slimmed down figure in a swimsuit after recently losing 70lbs.

Meanwhile, Eddie's ex-wife, Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville spoke on her difficult relationship with LeAnn.

Eddie dumped Brandi in 2009 following almost a decade of marriage after beginning an affair with LeAnn on the set of their film Northern Lights.

When Brandi first saw LeAnn with her sons Mason, eight, and Jake, five, she admits going beserck.

She told Australia's NW magazine: 'My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her. I really thought I was going to physically hurt her.

'That was the first time I saw her that way - she was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she's got my kid on her lap and she's with my husband, and that was that little moment of total irrational fury

'We're never going to be best friends, but she's good to my kids, they love her and that's all I could ask for.

'If they didn't like her, I'd be in court right now, fighting. It's not about me - it's about them.'

Their paradise trips can't last forever though and LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were soon back to reality with a bump as they returned home to Los Angeles this week.

But before their second honeymoon had come to an end, the couple made the most of their last moments in the sun with a lazy snuggle in a hammock.

And it also gave Leann a final opportunity to parade two more of her bikinis and show off her enviable figure as they lazed around on the beach.

She was first seen in a multi-coloured floral bikini as she snuggled up with her husband in a hammock as they lazed in the sun.

But then it was all change for the star as she swapped the floral two-piece for a green bikini which showed off her toned physique as she wandered the beach wit her camera.

The couple were in Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, where they renewed their vows in an intimate and emotional ceremony last weekend.

The country singer and the actor have been married for a year and marked their first anniversary with a romantic trip to their favourite holiday destination.

And they made the most of their time together as they strolled the beach, had lots of kisses and cuddles and soaked up the sun.

Their wedding anniversary was actually on April 22nd but they turned the celebrations into a week-long event.

And on Saturday she wrote: 'Renewed our vows today....it's incredible to thank each other for the past year as husband and wife. Here's to another great year!

'Couldn't stop crying while renewing our vows.'

But when it comes to LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian, they're certainly putting a lot of time, effort and money into marking their first anniversary.

The country singer and actor jetted down to Mexico to renew their vows in an intimate, emotional ceremony on Saturday.

And it looks like the 29-year-old may have tied the knot again wearing a bikini, as she was spotted wearing a black two-piece all day.

The previous day, the Can't Fight The Moonlight star was flaunting her toned body in a red two-piece as she enjoyed a romantic stroll on the beach with her handsome husband.

Rimes and father-of-two Cibrian, 38, actually hit their first wedding anniversary on April 22, but have been stringing out the celebrations all week.

They arrived in Mexico on Thursday and have been spending plenty of time on the beach.

A keen amateur photographer, Rimes was taking plenty of snaps of the scenery with her digital SLR camera.

Despite being on holiday and having broken her mobile phone, Rimes has been tweeting feverishly through her holiday.

Rimes admitted two fellow holidaymakers had stopped her on the beach to compliment her on her figure.

She tweeted: 'Nothing like running by two beautiful women on the beach who stop you to compliment you on your body. So NICE!!!!!'

She also admitted she ended up injured after going crab-spotting on Friday.

She lamented: 'Eddie and I went climbing on the rocks in the ocean yesterday to see the thousands of crabs. I did not realise til now just how dab (sic) I kicked a rock with two of my toes...OUCH.'

But LeAnn Rimes was spotted seemingly puckering up to another woman yesterday, as she fooled around with a girlfriend during yet another holiday break to popular ski spot Mammoth, California.

And instead of Cibrian being worried about his 29-year-old wife with her hands and lips all over someone else, the 38-year-old actor was cheering on and even took photographs of the naughty embrace.

The risque behaviour went down on the balcony of a cabin the duo had seemingly rented with another couple, including LeAnn's blonde-haired girlfriend 'Lizzy'.

Drinking beers on the porch, LeAnn and her gal pal started to get frisky during the afternoon.

The two women were not only seen puckering up, but embracing, and LeAnn even stripping off to expose her black bra and also nuzzling her face in her friend's chest.

Eddie and his fellow male mate not only witnessed the conduct, but also appeared to be cheering the girls on, especially when they leaned in for a kiss.

LeAnn's extra good mood may have something to do with her being in talks to be the next X Factor USA judge.

Cibrian has confirmed that his wife has been in talks with show boss Simon Cowell for the job.

He told TV show 'Extra': 'They've been talking. I think she would be unbelievable on a show like that. Plus she can sing.'

The news comes as Black Eyed Peas star Fergie has also reportedly thrown her name into the ring for the judging vacancies.

Sources told Life & Style magazine the singer, real name Stacy Ferguson, has had 'some conversations' with the producers and music and TV mogul Cowell, and she hopes to fill one of the spots left by Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul on the show.

If all the reports are true, the 36-year-old could be up against Rimes and also Britney Spears for one of the two vacancies - because Cowell has announced he wants a man and a woman to join him

Last season, the show faced many changes.

Spokespeople for The X Factor are refusing to comment on the speculation.

Never one to travel in a dressed down fashion the singer stepped out in brown wedge heels which she was seen teetering in to the car.

While we are used to seeing LeAnn taking the less is more approach when it comes to clothing, her attire was in fact in keeping with the warm temperatures LA enjoyed over the weekend.

She was in Nashville, Tennessee, to host the 30th annual Texaco Country Showdown, where she also performed for the crowd.

And if the shoes didn’t make her legs look long enough, the Can’t Fight The Moonlight singer donned a pair of very tiny sequined back shorts to ensure as much of her pins as possible were on show.

She also wore a black boyfriend blazer over a sheer black top for her public appearance.

The blonde tied her locks into a slick ponytail to complete her flirty and fun look.

She took a quick diversion from her current US tour to attend the Showdown, and will be heading to Texas to perform a concert over the weekend.

The girls hit the upscale boutiques and the boys went for a stroll in the park as temperatures hit the high 70s in Los Angeles over Thanksgiving weekend.

LeAnn looked happy and healthy after criticism over the summer that she was too thin.


Earlier in the day LeAnn was wearing a mini-skirt and cardigan as she browsed in the boutiques.

But as the temperature rose she changed into something more summery
The 29-year-old singer showed off her curves in a clingy blue jersey dress teamed with black gladiator sandals.

She completed her look with an armful of gold bangles and a pair of aviator sunglasses.

The Northern Lights star clutched a large snakeskin tote as she made her way through the upscale Malibu Country Mart with a girlfriend.

Known for her rich vocals, LeAnn found fame as an eight-year-old champion on the original Ed McMahon version of Star Search.

She released her first single, Blue, originally written for Patsy Cline when she was only 13.

'I've gone through it all, at a very young age. But I think one of my base accomplishments is that I have been able to handle it very well,' said LeAnn on a recent appearance on BBC Breakfast.

'Trust me I have my moments, but I've been doing it so long' she added, 'I've been one of the very few who have come through as a true artist on the other side of the child star kind of thing. I'm prouder of my work than I've ever been.'

LeAnn's career seems to be going from strength to strength at the moment.

She recently starred with Burt Reynolds in a romantic comedy on the Country Music Channel and was nominated for an American Music Award in the category of Favorite Female Country Artist.

Cibiran, 38, on the other hand has just had his show The Playboy Club cancelled by NBC after just three episodes.

The 1963-set drama failed to capture the Mad Men style nostalgia it was aiming for and was yanked amidst criticisms about weak performances and misogynistic storylines.

They later also left in separate cars.

She’s battled taunts over her weight for months and last night LeAnn Rimes faced another critic while having dinner with her husband Eddie Cibrian.

As she dined at a restaurant in Chicago, a fellow guest at lounge bar Double A apparently came over to LeAnn’s table and told her she needs to eat something.

The country singer took to Twitter to express her anger by tweeting: ‘How dare someone come to me at a table w/ the boys and tell me I need to eat something.


‘What is wrong with people!? As I’m stuffing my face… have another drink and maybe take a class in manners! Cheers!’

The 28-year-old is in Chicago while her husband is filming an upcoming TV series and also took part this week in the Academy of Country Music Lifting Lives benefit and had performed at Joe’s Bar on Wednesday.

The charity funds programs that aim to improve disadvantaged people’s lives through music.

And as she belted out some of her hits, she also showed off her famously lean figure in a tiny playsuit and heels.

But despite LeAnn facing criticism over her lithe frame, her husband Eddie, 38, told US Magazine this month that she has a ‘perfect’ body.

She has previously tweeted: ‘This is my body and I can promise you I’m a healthy girl.

‘I’m just lean. Thanks for your concern but no need to be.’

And Cibrian also revealed that he and his wife work out together, saying: ‘We go to the gym together. She really loves to work out.’

The couple spend a lot of their time in Chicago while Eddie films The Playboy Club – an upcoming American TV series which is set in 1962 at the first Playboy Club in the city.

‘It’s a big city with a small-town mentality and good-hearted people.’
