..It was the big news to hit the world of TOWIE on Wednesday when she finally decided to hang up her high heels and leave the show.

Lauren Goodger has decided to open up about her decision to leave the reality programme and claims it is not to find her fortune elsewhere, but because of her weight insecurities.

Goodger, 25, has revealed that she would feel so body conscious next to other slim cast-mates that she would want to hide parts of her body in front of the cameras.

She admits working with her skinny co-stars didn't help her feelings of paranoia.

She told the Sunday Mirror: 'I felt under so much pressure. Most of the girls on TOWIE are quite skinny... Next to the others, I’d be panicking over whether my arms looked fat or how big I’d look if I was sitting down.

'I’d even beg producers to let me sit at a table so I could hide my legs underneath.'

Lauren is now looking forward to 'a break' after constantly struggling with her weight issues since rising to fame on the reality show.

Since being put in front of the public eye Goodger has been subjected to internet trolls who have targeted over her fluctuating weight.

And she's now had enough of crying her her body issues and being targeted for being on The Only Way Is Essex.

She now feels it's the right time to move on after putting herself through the ups and downs of being a TOWIE star.

Lauren is also feeling more body confident now she is a 'healthy size 12' but hopes to drop a bit of weight in the near future, admitting shed like to drop 'a stone and a half'.

Goodger is rumoured to be taking up a role on Dancing On Ice now that she is free from the ITV2 show but she is still remaining tight-lipped about any signings.

She told the newspaper that 'nothing's confirmed yet'.

But one thing she will shed light on is the fact she's writing a book, although it won't be an autobiography telling all on her life and will instead be a guide about her life - battling with her weight and her relationship problems.

But despite looking bleary eyed, Goodger didn't seem to care as she'd obviously had a fun night out with her girl pal.

She recently admitted that she hasn't dieted for weeks and is still a size 10, but perhaps Lauren Goodger's healthy eating plan has slipped.

The 25-year-old was spotted tucking into sushi during a shopping trip at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent yesterday but it didn't look like the healthiest of meals.

With a collection of bowls piled high next to her, Lauren nibbled on something that appeared to be fried as she sipped on a bottle of Coca Cola.

The Only Way Is Essex star was obviously getting her energy levels up as she prepared to hit the shops and indulge in some retail therapy.

She was accompanied by a female friend as she enjoyed the Japanese cuisine and even used chopsticks to tuck into her food.

The pair were sitting next to the conveyor belt of food and just couldn't resist grabbing a few extra bowls judging by the piles on the table.

Wearing black leggings, a matching top and white Converse trainers, Lauren headed straight to Lipsy after lunch, emerged shortly afterwards toting a large shopping bag.

Despite being inside, the reality TV star kept her dark sunglasses on as she contemplated going in a few other stores.

Lauren is no doubt chuffed with her size 10 figure and couldn't wait to buy some new clothes.

Speaking at the Magic Mike film premiere in London last week, she told Closer magazine: 'I haven't dieted for weeks and I can still get this size 10 dress on! I've been running in the gym and doing weights instead.'

It was previously reported that Lauren was on the strict Cambridge diet, but clearly she has decided to take a break from it.

Perhaps now that she's happy with her image, Lauren will feel ready to start up a new romance.

'I caught little bits [of Hollywood Nights] I didn't like it. I told him,' she explained, before adding: 'I said: "I don't know what you're doing. You've got to be yourself. People know you, you're from TOWIE. Stop trying to b something you're not."'

The couple - who were briefly engaged - ended their relationship last year, and Mark was alleged to have ignored Lauren when he bumped into her on a recent night out.

She added a glittering chunky cuff on her wrist and carried a Vivienne Westwood clutch bag.

The salon owner looked bronzed from her recent trip to Marbella with her The Only Way Is Essex co-stars as she showed off her legs in a pair of nude coloured peep toe heels.

And she made sure to upload several pictures of herself throughout the evening, it also seems that Lauren had got the party going way before she met up with Katie.

She added a touch of her token glamour with a (slightly clashing) pair of pink and yellow heels, and wore her hair in a pony tail.

Her nails were rather elaborately decorated with pink check nail varnish while dark sunglasses completed the look.

Meanwhile, Lauren put her time in Liverpool to good use as she hit the shops.

She was determined to do whatever it took to shed weight after seeing pictures of herself on holiday looking much larger than she would like.

But Lauren Goodger has revealed in a new magazine interview that her attempts to shed the pounds at a strenuous bootcamp left her in tears.

The 25-year-old TOWIE star said that she couldn't cope with the five times a day workout sessions, after eating just half an apple and a boiled egg.

Lauren told new! magazine: 'You’re starving. I met a lot of girls there and we became like a family. We were crying together because the training is so intense.

'I couldn’t walk one day, it was so bad.'

The intense regime gave Lauren the results she wanted and she explained: 'I did three
and a half days and I lost 6lbs. I felt toned, my legs and my bum felt tight.'

She's now a gym bunny: The Essex girl, who eats just 1,200 calories a day while on the Cambridge Weight Plan wants to lose another stone to take her weight between nine and nine and a half stone

Worryingly Lauren doesn't seem concerned with any possible negative effects such a strict regime may have on her body, in fact the quick results appear to have spurred her on whatever the cost to her health.

Since embarking on the regime Lauren, who consumes a mere 1,200 calories a day when on the Cambridge Weight Plan, guesses she has lost between a stone and a stone and a half and says she is now between 10 and 10 and a half stone.

And although her approach might not be the healthiest, or most easily sustained way to lose weight Lauren hopes to inspire girls who want to see results and show they do not have to resort to surgery.

She explained: 'I’ve been offered all the surgery under the sun but I haven’t had anything done. I’m
too young, I don’t need it, and I’m not obese.

'I want to show girls that if you’re unhappy with your image, you can change it. I want people to aspire to that rather than going down the surgical route and getting fake boobs and all that c***. I’m not a fan of that.'

While Lauren, who says she wants to lose another stone, is focusing on her figure said she is 'definitely not' looking for a man.

And speaking about her ex-boyfriend Mark Wright seeing pictures of her with other men she said there's little doubt he will be jealous.

She replied: 'Yeah, of course he will be bothered. I would be too, I won’t deny it. It’s a natural feeling.

We’re never not going to care.We’ll always have that history.'

Lauren, who says she isn't bothered about Chelsea Rashoff the volleyball player in Mark's new show, clearly doesn't rule out a reconciliation in the future.

She noted: 'Everything happens for a reason. Whatever’s meant to be will be.'

..She recently revealed she’s been the victim of Twitter abuse and it seems as if Lauren Goodger is never far from controversy.

The Only Way Is Essex star enjoyed a night out at Nu Bar in Essex last night before making a scheduled personal appearance at Zenon Club in Bromley but left after only an hour following an incident inside the club.

A clubber told MailOnline: ‘Lauren turned up at about midnight to do a planned personal appearance. It was quite embarrassing because only about 60 or 70 people had showed up to see her.

It all started off so well! Lauren Goodger was enjoying herself last night at NU Bar in Essex before an incident at Zenon Club later forced her to leave early

‘This guy tried to get a picture and a kiss and at first she refused. In the end Lauren let him take the picture but he tried to kiss her and she stumbled and then he took pictures of her on the ground.

‘She tried to get them deleted and security had to be called. Eventually the pictures were deleted but Lauren refused to take any more photos with anyone. She left then and we saw her sitting on the stairs for a while.

‘Two girls who were leaving the club were furious, ranting “F*****g Lauren Goodger, who does she think she is? She’s nothing but a s**g.” Lauren must have heard them because they were shouting really loudly.

‘Last I saw of Lauren was when she got paid and left.’

Lauren was certainly dressed for a night of partying, showing off her slimmed down physique in a short white playsuit with a black belt, nude peep-toe heels, a large silver cuff bracelet and a black Chanel bag.

As ever the reality TV star – who is tanned from a recent trip to Marbella - sported a face full of make-up and also left her flowing brunette locks loose.

However, she was clearly enjoying herself to begin with as she looked worse for wear leaving the first venue and making her way to Zenon Club in Bromley.

Lauren is no stranger to verbal abuse and recently revealed she has been getting hateful messages from strangers on Twitter.

One user wrote to her: 'You fat kebab legged ogre,' while another wrote: 'Bit of a wedgy going on there luv', just two minutes after she posted a photo up of herself wearing a bikini from the back.

And one even tweeted likening her to larger EastEnders character Heather Trott.

She's also received hate messages including people telling her 'I bet your mum and dad hate you' and 'I bet your mum wishes her egg had never accepted the sperm that made you.'

In response, Lauren told The Sun: 'I’ll get hundreds of responses to anything I post saying things like ‘you’re fat’, ‘you’re ugly’, or ‘who are you?’

'It can be quite rude and disgusting, too... This just goes too far — it’s bullying.

I tell myself these people must have problems of their own to write stuff like this.'

And she insists the only way she deals with it is because she is now body confident and isn't letting the negative messages affect her.

Goodger is now calling for people who are racist or send offensive messages to be outed and have their profiles banished from the site.

Lauren had been excited about her personal appearance, encouraging fans on twitter to come say hello

The TV star hasn't felt the need to notify the police about any messages yet, unlike Arsenal's Jack Wilshere who closed his Twitter account after online users
incorrectly spread allegations he had tested positive for Class A drugs.

But Lauren is all for new laws that are being put in place.

A recent High Court ruling is forcing sites like Twitter to reveal identities of people who are guilty of spreading such hatred and nasty messages.

And less than three months on, the TOWIE star has been flaunting the results of her drastic weight-loss plan while soaking up the sunshine with her co-stars in Marbella.

Lauren, 25, donned a bright yellow bikini as she spent the day drinking and dancing at Sala Club, in the Spanish resort.

Lauren has been very vocal about her attempts to slim down and has been on a controversial liquid-only diet recently.

She has now relaxed her strict regime and was seen drinking cocktails as she basked in the sunshine.

Lauren was joined by former on-screen rival Lucy Mecklenburgh and her boyfriend Mario Falcone, who were seen looking rather cosy together as they shared a cuddle.

After a hard day partying Lauren slipped into a ruby red dress to hit the town to continue the festivites.
