Glitter or glamour? Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa Contostavlos go head-to-head again as they battle for the X Factor style crown

By Daily Mail Reporter

They step out onto the X Factor stage every week dressed to nines and fighting to be crowned the most fashionable judge.

And this week, both ladies put their best foot forward when it came to their style choices

Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa Contostavlos both looked stunning in totally different dresses, with Nicole opting for a sexy leather dress while the N-Dubz star sparkled from top to toe in a lilac sequin number.

Close call: Both Nicole Scherzinger and Tulisa Contostavlos brought their A-game to X Factor's weekly style-off

Leather and sequins: Nicole opted for a sexy look this week while Tulisa kept it girly in a pastel dress

Nicole decided to bare some skin in a strapless black leather dress that hugged her enviable figure in all the right places.

The dress by Ermanno Scervino featured ruffles in the waistline which accentuated her great shape.

She teamed up the sexy little black dress with shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti and got into the English spirit as she pinned a poppy on her neckline.

Meanwhile, Tulisa stole the spotlight with a feminine dress with lilac sequins all over designed by Jovani.

I got you: Both ladies needed a little help from the male judges going down the steps in their high heels

Sexy mentor: Nicole sizzled during this week's show as her acts also continued to go from strength to strength

The mentor of the girls category let the eye-catching dress do all the taking as she left her long brown locks wavy and kept her make-up simple with a soft pink lip colour.

They were joined on stage by their fellow judges, Gary Barlow and Louis Walsh, who both looked dapper in their signature suits as they helped the ladies down the steps in their stiletto heels.

Gary stayed true to his gentlemanly style and opted for a classic suit with a white shirt, while Louis kept his ensemble all black.

Lilac princess: Tulisa showed off a softer side of herself in this girly and sparkly little number

Despite looking glamorous and feminine in her great dress, Tulisa was upset she had to say goodbye to one of the girls she was mentoring, Lucy Spraggan.

The popular contestant decided to quit the show last week, and Tulisa took to Twitter to express her sadness.

'I'm so sorry to lose @lspraggan from the competition,' she wrote hours before the live show commenced.

'I have had a brilliant time working with her and I hope I can continue to mentor her in the future'.

'I now count her as a friend. She is an amazing girl. I love ya lucy, get well soon and my thoughts are with you. Xx'

No clear winner: The judges both showed off their style credentials during this week's live show

'I felt so embarrassed and ashamed': Tulisa reveals sexually attack horror at 16 after her drink was spiked

Tulisa Contostavlos has revealed she was sexually assaulted after being drugged when she was 16.

Recalling what started as a night out in friends in her new autobiography, the singer revealed how her 'fearless nature' put her in some horrible situations.

The now 24-year-old recalled how she had seen her friends putting pills in people's drinks and told them that she didn't want to get involved on the night the alleged attack took place.

In the book Honest: My Story So Far, which is being serialised by The Sun, Tulisa admits she even lied about having a heart condition in a bid to preventing her drink wouldn't get spiked.

As the evening progressed, she recalls all of a sudden feeling 'abnormally drunk', despite only having a few drinks.

Following a few dizzy spells, the Camden-born singer soon lost her footing and was escorted out of the club for fresh air.

Still haunting to talk about, Tulisa remembered: 'The next thing I remembered was waking up. lying in the back of a cab and seeing the street lights whizzing past me through the windows. I felt completely out of it, and I blacked out again.'

The next time the Young singer came around, she was in a strange bedroom.

Then... Tulisa rose to fame alongside cousin Dappy and Fazer as a member of N-Dubz

Now... The 24-year-old revealed that she never reported the attack to the police

And worse still, in regaining consciousness to her horror she found that her friend was having non-consensual sex with her before passing out again.

'I couldn't even move, let alone get up or speak, and once again I just blacked out. When I finally woke up in the morning I found myself in a strange house'.

In the morning as Tulisa tried to come to terms with what the person she had considered a 'friend' had done, she found herself greeted with a kind gesture.

The mother of the boy believed that the MOBO award-winner star was her son's girlfriend and offered to make her a cup of tea.

She admitted that she felt 'so embarrassed and ashamed' that she failed to tell the boy's mother what had really happened.

She continued: 'I went into the bathroom and burst into tears. Then I pulled myself together, got dressed, and left without saying another word, crying all the way home.'

Eight years on and the former N-Dubz star revealed that person who allegedly attacked her was never brought to justice as she never reported the crime.

Stating that she has now 'come to terms' with the ordeal, Tulisa did say that although she spoke out to friends about what had happened to her, confusion and her age played a big part in her not being courageous enough to seek police help or tell her family.

But ever the fighter, the singer boldly stated that had the attack taken place now, it would be a very different story given her newfound personal strength.

The tighter the better: Tulisa steps out in a unflattering short skirt as she promotes autobiography

By Emily Sheridan

Her dress sense is often savaged by fashion critics, with Tulisa herself admitting she doesn't spend much time on her wardrobe.

And as she filmed an appearance on Daybreak today (Tuesday), the X Factor judge stepped out in another unflattering outfit.

The former N-Dubz singer, 24, showed off a lot of leg in a super short and tight floral skirt, which she teamed with a clingy fuchsia vest.

Super-tight: Tulisa Contostavlos wore a very tight skirt and clingy pink vest as she left the ITV studios this morning

Miss Independent: Tulisa admits she doesn't work out or follow fashion

The blonde star's top was so clingy it gave a clear outline of her bra underneath.

While the outfit was a tad too tight, she did accessorise well with a blue bag and green, black and blue heels, which complemented the colours in her skirt.

Her choice of outfit - or perhaps one put together by her stylist - comes after Tulisa admits she hates shopping and, unlike her contemporariness, doesn't work out.

She said: 'You can see from the curves that I'm not working out - it's just jelly! I swear on my mum's life I've never done a day's exercise.

'I got jelly': Tulisa says she is proud to be a curvy girl

Busy: Tulisa is promoting X Factor, her new single and her autobiography

'It's complicated, for me I'm not so much into fashion, or labels, or seasons or what's in, I don't care.

'I have a stylist that has to understand what I like to wear and get the stuff that I want. I just wanna wear what I like, so if I say to her, I like being glamorous but I wanna be urban so you have to make that work for me.'

Tulisa was on the ITV breakfast show to promote her upcoming autobiography
Despite having grown up in London, Tulisa admitted she fantasises about moving to the country and growing her own vegetables.

Curly girlie: Tulisa wore another tight outfit as she took part in a webchat at her record label in Kensington last night

She said: 'I think about that every day. I get that thought at least one a day.'

She also hit out at fellow celebrities for being 'fake' and hoped she was more genuine.

She explained: 'I think the celebrities today, not all of them, but just the whole industry frustrates me because it is so fake. People pretend to be, a lot of the time, what they're not. And I don't know, it's just this whole façade that's being portrayed to the public which isn't the real case.

These are all real people and I just find it silly and unnecessary, and so I want to bring that realness to this industry and say well actually, I'm actually a human being, we're not all like that.'

You're not fooling anyone! Tulisa spends five hours having her hair dyed blonde then tries to hide it with a wig but fails miserably

By Kirsty Mccormack

It was a carefully mastered plan that appeared to fail miserably, but yet Tulisa Contostavlos thought she had had the last laugh.

The 23-year-old spent five hours having her hair dyed blonde yesterday and planned to keep it top secret by wearing black wig.

'For the two paps that just papped me outside the hairdressers.... Sorry guys... GOTCHA! ;-)' she tweeted yesterday with a photo of the wig, but what she doesn't know is that her blonde hair could actually be seen as she left the salon.

Peek-a-boo: Tulisa tries to hide her new blonde hairdo as she leaves the Jamie Stevens hair salon last night but fails miserably

The X Factor judge obviously had wanted to make a grand unveiling of her hair style but that was ruined by whoever placed the black bob wig on her head.

Tulisa even pulled the hood up of her bright blue velour tracksuit as she left the Jamie Stevens Kensington salon but even that wasn't enough to cover her new tresses.

The N-Dubz star had certainly dressed down for her long stint at the hairdressers and teamed the soft tracksuit with white trainers and a blue vest.

She completed her look with dark sunglasses, despite it being dark by the time she left, and carried a white quilted handbag on her left arm.

'Gotcha!' The singer thought that she had fooled the photographers by later posting a photo of her wig on Twitter

Blondes have more fun: Tulisa wore her tracksuit top hood up in another attempt to hide her lighter locks

Her new hairstyle was seen in all it's glory today when Tulisa arrived at London's High Court to settle legal action against her ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards.

Wearing a black mini skirt with a floral top and a beige blazer, the singer had clearly had her locks blowdried to perfection and wore them in a loose curl.

However, it wasn't an entirely smooth transition from dark to light as it has actually been revealed that Tulisa called on X Factor hairdresser Jamie for help after a first attempt to go blonde left her with ginger hair.

This, of course, isn't the first time that Tulisa has sported a lighter hairstyle as when N-Dubz first burst onto the music scene a few years ago, the Camden-born star was a blonde.

Going back to her roots: Tulisa used to be blonde back in 2009 and has obviously decided to revisit that look

A triumphant Tulisa Contostavlos thanked fans for their support outside London's High Court today after settling legal action against her ex-boyfriend Justin Edwards.

And, in her statement, Tulisa added: 'This time, Justin messed with the wrong woman'.

'This time, Justin messed with the wrong woman': Tulisa Contostavlos gave a statement to reporters outside the High Court today after settling her legal action against ex boyfriend Justin Edwards over the publication of a sex tape of the couple

Now, I'm off to Ibiza! Tulisa looked stony-faced as she left the court, but cheered up as she spoke to reporters

She added: 'I am relieved that this is finally over. It has been a very testing few months and this was not a case I ever wanted to go through.

'Justin Edwards's actions were to spite me, make money and ruin my career. He has succeeded in none of these things.

'I stand here today a stronger, wiser young woman who has taken this experience and learnt from it.'

She continued: 'I am disgusted by Justin and saddened by the people that believed I released the footage myself. Today the truth has prevailed. After months of lying to the public and lying in court, Justin has finally admitted to being guilty and I hope justice is served.

'I would now like to draw a line under this and put it in the past. I also would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the fans that stood by me. I'm especially grateful for all the support I have received from the public, my friends, family and team.

'With that support and my determination I have won this battle. This time, Justin messed with the wrong woman.'

Asked if she had learned anything from the sex tape being made public, Tulisa, who turns 24 tomorrow, replied: 'Take it, use it as experience to make you stronger and don't let it beat you.'

She then told reporters: 'I'm just really happy that the truth is out. It's a fresh start for me today after this, and it's my birthday, and now, of course, I'm off to Ibiza.'

Her solicitor, Jonathan Coad, told Mr Justice Tugendhat that the invasion of Miss Contostavlos's privacy 'was of the most severe kind imaginable'.

He said: 'She suffered and continues to suffer very serious distress at this wholly unjustified and unlawful interference with her rights.

'She has been particularly distressed by the wholly untrue allegation made by some that she was in some way complicit with the release of the footage. She was not, as this statement makes clear.'

Victory: Tulisa said in her statement that Justin had 'messed with the wrong woman'

Moving on: Tulisa said she now wants to put the controversy behind her and get on with her life

Visible relief: Tulisa said she is relieved the ordeal is finally over after a 'very testing few months'

Mr Coad said that Edwards, who was not present but accepted all that was said on behalf of Miss Contostavlos, had also agreed not to speak further in public about their relationship.

He added that Edwards, by consenting to the statement being read, acknowledged publicly that, he was responsible for causing the publication of the video, without the knowledge or consent of Miss Contostavlos, by entrusting it to others with whom he entered into a number of commercial arrangements.

The solicitor said that Edwards had asked him to express his sincere apologies to Miss Contostavlos, her family and her fans.

He said: 'He now realises that his actions were misguided by the bad advice of others, that he displayed terrible judgment by heeding that advice and this has directly caused severe anxiety and distress to Miss Contostavlos and her family.

'Betrayed': Tulisa and Ultra during happier times at the Mobo Awards after-party in Glasgow, Scotland in October 2009

'He now entirely accepts that he should not have done so. He is deeply regretful of the consequences of his actions, as it was never his intention to cause Miss Contostavlos or her family any harm.'

Mr Coad said that Miss Contostavlos accepted that Edwards genuinely regretted what he had done, but remained determined to continue her claim against the others involved in exploiting her privacy.

Mr Coad said that as a result of the litigation, 60 websites had been forced to remove the footage.

Ms Contostavlos, who shot to fame as a member of hip hop group N-Dubz and landed a high-profile role as a judge on the X Factor talent show, launched legal action against Mr Edwards and others following the emergence of the footage.

She won a High Court order in March banning publication of footage showing her 'engaged in a sexual act'.

The singer and Mr Edwards had been in a relationship in their teens which ended in 2009.

In an internet statement broadcast on YouTube, the 23-year-old described being 'devastated' and 'heartbroken' over publication of the tape.

She said: 'When you share an intimate moment with someone that you love, you care about and you trust, you never imagine for one minute that that footage may at any point be shared with the rest of the UK or the rest of the people around the world.

'It's a pretty tough time for me, but I don't feel I should be the one to take the heat for it.

'This is something he took upon himself to put the footage online, and now he's sitting in silence and pretending that it's not him on the tape when it is.

'I'm not going sit here and be violated or taken advantage of.'

The garage MC defended himself in an interview with Loaded magazine. Edwards said Tulisa should spoken to him BEFORE naming him publicly and blaming him for its release.

He also blasted Simon Cowell for calling him a 'scumbag', insisting he was hung out to dry by Tulisa's powerful PR machine.

The 28-year-old gave a detailed insight into how the scandal broke - admitting it was him and her in the film.

He said: 'It was filmed on Tulisa's mobile, a Blackberry I think, and I never even thought of it again until it came out.'

He said the intimate scene was filmed backstage during the N-Dubz Against All Odds tour when they 'snuck off for a bit of naughty time'.

Justin said they split in 2010, towards the end of the tour - because 'she isn't the type of girl I wanted' - and then he heard no more from her until late last year.

He said: 'She rang me about a story that came out in The Sun about somebody trying to sell a sex tape. It came out of the blue.'

The singer said Tulisa texted him and asked, 'Did we make one?'

He said: 'I said, 'what do you mean did we make one?' She was asking - knowing we did - because it sounded funny on the phone like maybe I was being recorded or something.

'I was like, 'You know we made one, what are you talking about? You know we made one.' Then she was like 'Oh, oh'. I said 'is it definitely coming up?' She said, 'Yeah, well, er, I'm not sure."'

'The truth about the tape' The X Factor judge said her piece in a gutsy video she posted on YouTube

'When you share an intimate moment with someone you love, you never expect this'

The singer insisted he told Tulisa he had never sold a story about them before and she never asked him if he had sold the sex video - which he maintains he didn't.

He said he was angry with her questions in the text messages because, he said, she did not even know if the film was real and "there were a couple of other options of people it could have been and who could have put it out there".

But he said she dropped him in it by recording her message on YouTube, naming him as the culprit for the sex tape's release.

He said: 'It wasn't me. She just jumped on YouTube like it was a show. I don't understand - you've told the world that I've done it without even asking me.

'Tulisa's caning me on TV, without even a phone call.'

Loaded magazine says Edwards was not paid for his interview.

'I thought I was going get shot': X Factor judge Tulisa's secret arrest after 'fleeing stabbing scene' with ex-boyfriend

By Fehintola Betiku

..Singer Tulisa has revealed she was arrested after fleeing the scene of a gangland stabbing with an ex-boyfriend.

The X Factor judge, who has made no secret of her sordid past, has revealed all in a new autobiography - and sensationally admits she called her manager before calling the police after the stabbing.

Tulisa revealed she was worried about her reputation if her involvement with the stabbing hit the headlines and to her credit she has kept no stone unturned in the dramatic book which tells the story of her rocky rise to fame.

Brave: Tulisa has revealed in a new autobiography how fled the scene of a stabbing with ex Adam Bailey as she was afraid of the repercussions it would have on career

Tulisa reveals a frightening incident where she arrested for fleeing from a crime scene where a man was stabbed.
She even had to take the stand to to defend her then boyfriend Adam Bailey's trail.

In September 2008 Tulisa, her cousin and former band mate Dappy were out in London celebrating her former boyfriend Adam Bailey's 24th birthday when a row involving up to 20 men broke out.

The book which was penned by Sean Smith and is serialised in the The People today, explains how Tulisa called her manager Jonathan Shalit instead of the police as the violence escalated because she was worried news of the brawl would affect N-Dubz image as they were readying the release of their first album.

Back in the day: Tulisa has said she was worried about her reputation after the incident

Smith wrote: 'Fortunately, on the night itself, Tulisa had the presence of mind to call Jonathan Shalit and any fallout was well-managed. Incredibly, the arrests of Tulisa and Bailey never made the papers at the time. That would certainly not happen today when she is a far bigger star.'

As a result of the incident a man named Mark Nagle had to spend two weeks in hospital after he needed emergency surgery to treat a stab wound.

Whereas Tulisa had to take to the stand at the Blackfriars' Crown Court after Bailey was accused of dangerous driving and wounding with intent.

X Factor: Tulisa has carved a career away from violence and is currently starting her second season of X Factor as a judge

Cheese: Tulisa posed up for fans as she inched her way down the X Factor carpet in sky high platform courts this week

Remembering the night clearly, in December 2009 the Young singer told the jury that she had just jumped out of her car when she noticed a gang of hooded men began walking towards her.

The 23-year-old told the jury: 'All I heard was, "Where’s the ’ting? Buss it’ (Slang for ‘Where is the gun? Shoot it’)." When I heard that, I thought, "Oh my God, he’s got a gun."'

She then described how Bailey attempted to divert the gang's attention by driving towards them at which point she ran back to her car and as she did so a member of the gang threw something in her boyfriend's car.

Tulisa explained how she watched on as Bailey lost control of the vehicle which did a 'full tumble' and led her to believe he was dead when the car finally came to a stop.

'I thought, "Oh my God, he’s dead." I was screaming hysterically. I thought, "If he’s not dead, they are going to jump on him and kill him,"' Tulisa continued.

Luckily Bailey emerged from the wreckage, hopped into Tulisa's car and the two sped off.

Smith revealed that the then couple informed the police the next day and both were arrested; Tulisa was freed and Bailey was later cleared following his court appearance in which the singer gave a 'dramatic' account.

THIS is why I'm the Sexiest Woman in the World! Tulisa shows off her curves as she takes to the stage in a bodycon dress

By Fehintola Betiku

Last month there was somewhat uncertainty as to how Tulisa had managed to top FHM's Sexiest Woman In The World list.

But yesterday the X Factor judge showed off exactly why she was deserving of the title when she stepped onto stage at the In: Demand Live concert in Glasgow.

The 23-year-old singer displayed her curves in a turquoise bandage dress as she belted out her hits for her delighted fans.

It all makes sense: Tulisa wore a blue bandage dress as she performed in Glasgow at In: Demand Live yesterday

The bodycon dress featured an incredibly low neckline, which caused the N-Dubz singer to decide to wear a white bra underneath to protect her modesty

However, while the bra might have protected Tulisa from an onstage wardrobe malfunction, it did little to enhance the look of the overall outfit.

Tulisa, who was headlining the show which featured acts such as Alexandra Burke, Professor Green and Tinchy Stryder, wore her brunette locks down in loose curls.

Showstopper: The Young singer appeared to be in high spirits as she worked the crowd

And the Young singer teamed the dress with a pair of glittery silver heels that looked like trainers.

It has been a very busy few weeks for the X Factor judge, who has been working hard to promote her debut solo record and performing to fans.

This morning, Tulisa took to her Twitter page to admit to her followers that she is struggling somewhat with her jetsetting lifestyle.

She tweeted: '3rd flight in 48 hours, lord help me, way 2 early 4 this...'

Busting out: Tulisa wore a white bra underneath the outfit to protect her modesty, but the addition somewhat ruined the overall look of the outfit

Cheeky: The turquoise dress clung to Tulisa's now famous curves as she performed her solo track Young

However, one thing which could be helping Tulia cope with the frequent flights is her choice of book.

The pretty brunette star was seen clutching a copy of E.L. James' now notorious book Fifty Shades Of Grey as she made her way into Glasgow airport yesterday ahead of the concert.

Writtenfor mature audiences, the novel follows a steamy relationship between a naive college student - and initial virgin - named Anastasia Steele and a young, successful entrepreneur named Christian Grey whom she finds 'beautiful, brilliant, and intimidating.'
