The 36-year-old wore a black one-piece as she enjoyed some time at the beach today and the swimwear showed off a visibly protruding stomach.

Although she has so far kept mum on her pregnancy the star sported a knowing smile when she realised she had been spotted by cameras.

She kept her face covered up with a pair of large sunglasses an orange baseball cap, which shielded her skin from the sun’s rays.

As well as the reported impending arrival of her third child, it was recently announced that Reese will play producer on children's movie Pennyroyal’s Princess Boot Camp.

As well as being behind-the-scenes of the film, she will also play a supporting role.

If reports are true, Reese is probably getting to grips with being pregnant again after a hiatus of eight years.

Her son Deacon could also have to get used to not being the baby of the family any more.

But that doesn't seem to be a problem.

Proud parents?: The duo are said to be thrilled that Reese is expecting a baby

Getting used to the idea: It has been reported that time with Reese's children is helping Jim prepare for parenthood

Taking a dip: Reese cooled off and removed her hat to allow her hair to get wet

'Deacon and older sister Ava, 12, will love having a baby brother or sister,' a source told Us Weekly of the Oscar-winner's children with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe.

Although Reese’s husband of one year took him some time to warm up to the idea of first-time fatherhood, the source explains.

'Before Jim met Reese, he wasn't sure about having kids,' the source told Us Weekly of the CAA agent.

'Being around her kids has really shown him what it's all about.'

By Georgina Littlejohn

She has spoken about her desire to have a child with her second husband.

And it would appear that that dream has come true for Reese Witherspoon who is believed to be pregnant with her third child.

Reports from the US have claimed that the actress is expecting a baby with her second husband Jim Toth.

Cat out the bag? Reese Witherspoon, who was at the centre of pregnancy reports today, showed off a bump beneath her dress as she holidayed in Rio 11 days ago

A source told Us Weekly that she is three months pregnant but has no plans to make an official announcement.

Speaking to the publication, they said: 'Reese and Jim have been trying to get pregnant. Reese is right around 12 weeks but is not planning to announce it.'

Reese, 35, already has two children, Ava, 12, and Deacon, eight, from her first marriage to actor Ryan Phillippe.

Your secret's out, Reese! The actress showed early signs of her reported pregnancy as she hung out by the pool

She married Toth, 41, a CAA agent, in March last year after dating for just over a year and according to the source, they have told their close friends and family their happy news.

They added: 'The timing is right. She's so happy!'

'I feel really good and I'm at a really good place in my life.'

'Nothing's more important for me than family. I definitely love having a career, but I just love being a mom - it's how I was raised.'

Sack the stylist! Reese Witherspoon fails to sizzle in Rio as unflattering yellow dress adds inches to her hips for This Means War premiere

By Daily Mail Reporter

She's been travelling the world promoting her latest movie This Means War and it appears Reese Witherspoon is now starting to run out of stylish frocks.

The actress turned out for the movie's latest premiere in Rio De Janeiro in Brazil last night.

And she failed to impress as she stepped out in a canary yellow dress with an unflattering shape that added inches to her hips.

Scroll down for video...

Fashion faux pas: Reese Witherspoon turned up to the Brazil premiere of her film This Means War on Thursday in an unflattering yellow dress

While she was attempting to match the flamboyant colours associated with the South American country, Reese committed a fashion faux pas with the frock.

But she appeared to be pleased with her outfit choice as she grinned widely for the crowd and photographers at the event, as she posed happily for the cameras.

The 35-year-old Hollywood star gave herself height in a pair of black strappy heels, which showed her red nails with the peep toe detail.

Unflattering: The actress is currently promoting the rom-com across the world, but failed to impress in her latest get-up

And she accesorised the dress with a matching black patent belt, which she must have hoped would make her waist appear slimmer.

But thanks to the protruding cut, puffing out the sides of the dress, Reese's slim frame looked wider than it actually is.

Clearly in a jovial mood, she added a large metal necklace to the ensemble to make it more interesting.

Not her best! Reese has previously looked sleek and stylish at previous premieres for the same movie, in which she appears alongside Tom Hardy and Chris Pine

Wearing her hair poker straight in a ponytail with her fringe worn down, Reese was happy to stop and sign autographs for the waiting crowd.

Reese has been busy promoting the film, about two CIA agents who are also best friends until they fall in love with the same woman, played by the Legally Blonde star.

And she's knuckling down to boost the movie following lacklustre write ups after its release in America.

Signing autographs: The cut of the dress made Reese's hips look bigger than they actually are

It has been described by some critics as 'perfectly dreadful', insisting it should have been re-shot, while it received a mauling on Rotten Tomatoes with a meagre score of 45%.

But while Reese has been working hard screening the picture all over the world, the male leads, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, have been noticeably absent from the premieres.

And the actress is already looking to her next project while she promotes This Means War.

She is set to appear with fellow blondes Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow after the trio signed up to Ryan Murphy's latest film, One Hit Wonders.

According to Deadline.com, the actresses will play singers who had one hit song in the 1990s and who, in the present day, don't have careers to speak of.

Still at war in the style stakes: Reese Witherspoon looks slim and pretty in pink optical illusion dress during latest This Means War press conference

By KIMBERLEY DADDS

Flattering: Reese Witherspoon used an optical illusion dress to show off her physique during a press conference in Seoul, South Korea

t's the look that has been championed by Kate Winslet to show off her curves yet make her appear slim.

And now Reese Witherspoon has adopted the style by donning her own optical illusion dress by Michael Kors to her latest This Means War press conference.

The actress is still on the promotional trail for the comedy, despite it so far being panned by critics.

And during a press visit to South Korea this week she was certainly there to make an impression as she turned up in a vibrant pink frock.

The 35-year-old actress waved to the press as she strutted out at the event at the Lotte Cinema Theater in Seoul showing off her figure in the flattering number.

It had carefully placed black lines to give her a slimmer waist yet a curvier outline, a look which was first seen on Carol Vorderman before Kate Winslet made it her staple wardrobe piece.

Matching the look with black tights and high black heels, Reese looked in a happy mood as she grinned widely for her audience.

Director: She was joined by filmmaker McG at the event on Thursday where they were questioned about the film

She was joined by This Means War director McG at the event, designed to promote the film to the South Korean market.

The movie, about two CIA agents who are also best friends until they fall in love with the same woman, played by Reese, was given a lacklustre write up when it was released in America.

It has been described by some critics as 'perfectly dreadful', insisting it should have been re-shot, while it received a mauling on Rotten Tomatoes with a meagre score of 45%.

But she has remained on the warpath to promote her latest picture, which also stars Tom Hardy and Chris Pine as the CIA agents.

Sitting pretty: The blonde star was happy to receive a grilling from the audience

On the promotional trail: They have been busy promoting the comedy over the last few weeks at different events around the world

While the male stars were missing from the latest press conference, McG was there to talk all about the film.

But he went for a more casual affair from his star, opting for dark jeans with turn ups over shoes, a black jumper and a stripey shirt.

Reese, meanwhile, has also been opening up about her personal life as well as her career.

She recently opened up about her split from former husband Ryan Phillippe, describing the time of her life as a 'challenge' as she became used to being a single mother to 12-year-old Ava and Deacon, eight, following their divorce in 2007.

Centre of attention: Actors Chris Pine and Tom Hardy play CIA agents in the film who are best friends that fall for the same woman

She said: 'That period in my life was a challenge but you feel so much stronger once you pick up the pieces and make a new world for yourself.

'You rethink a lot of things and you develop a much sharper sense of what is going to make you happy. Many people go through crossroads in their lives, times where everything falls apart and you don't know what to do next.

'But you learn so much and it makes decisions easier going forward.'

And Reese, who is now married to talent agent Jim Toth, insists she's now learned to compromise in her relationships to make them work.

She adds: 'You have to be ready for a relationship so once you are finally in the right situation, I think you have to be willing to compromise and negotiate.

'I don't think it's war, but I do think it's a negotiation.'

'My new hairdo covers my scar': Reese Witherspoon reveals road accident prompted new haircut

By Emily Sheridan

Many Hollywood stars get a fringe for a new look or to give a more youthful appearance.

But Reese Witherspoon admitted she decided to cut her hair after she was left with a scar following a road accident in September.

The Oscar winner ended up with a cut on her forehead and a black eye after she was knocked down by a pensioner's vehicle while jogging.

Hiding her scar: Reese Witherspoon admits her new haircut is to cover the scar on her forehead

The mother-of-two, 35, recalled the accident in Santa Monica during an interview on tomorrow nights' Graham Norton Show.

Assuring Norton she had totally recovered following the 'particularly un-showbizzy' incident, she said: 'I was jogging and I got hit by a car, it’s not funny at all.

'They said I am very hard headed because I landed right on my head and I have a scar, hence my new hairdo.

'I don’t remember much about it but miraculously and thank God I am fine.'

Flashback: The star sported a black eye and a plaster on her head last fall

Can laugh about it now: Witherspoon relayed her story to Alex Kingston (centre) and Reginald D Hunter)

Witherspoon refused to press charges against the 85-year-old driver, who was cited by police for failing to stop for a pedestrian.

However, the actress joked the pensioner was now using a bus instead.

She added: 'She was 85 so they took away her licence and gave her a bus pass.'
Fellow guest Alex Kingston admitted she too had suffered a head injury.

Accident prone: Kingston revealed she recently ended up in hospital after colliding with a lamppost

She explained: 'I was jet lagged, working with comedians and I walked into a lamppost.

'It was a comedy moment, but I was so embarrassed because I thought I would be the butt of their jokes so I pretended I was fine and that night I started to feel really woozy and I fell flat on my face.

'I bit through my lower lip and knocked out my front teeth. It was really awful. I was doubly concussed and had to go straight to ER.'

Legally blonde (and curvy!) Reese Witherspoon shows off her enviable figure as she holidays with her children in Hawaii

By Kirsty Mccormack

Ready steady go! Reese Witherspoon runs into the sea with her son Deacon while on holiday in Hawaii today

She may be a Hollywood star but Reese Witherspoon looked like any other holiday-goer today.

The 35-year-old actress was spotted on a beach in Hawaii with her two children, Ava, 12, and eight-year-old Deacon, showing off her enviable figure.

The family looked like they were enjoying the New Year as they had fun in the sea with some boogie boards.

Reese certainly looked relaxed as she ran into the sea wearing a halterneck swimming costume.

The Legally Blonde star was showing off her curves in the teal-coloured swimsuit - which she teamed with a pair of aviator sunglasses.

However, it took her quite some time to make a decision about venturing into the water as she stood with friends and watched on as the children had fun.

At one point Reese was seen laughing with a female companion as she wore a large black baseball cap.

Showing off her curves: The actress displayed an enviable figure in a teal-coloured halterneck swimsuit

When she finally decided to join her children, she seemed a bit self-conscious of her figure and attempted to hide it with the large red and yellow board.

The mother-of-two was later seen wearing different swimwear in the form of purple bikini briefs and a red long-sleeved top.

She had also changed her sunglasses and was clutching a bottle of sun tan lotion and a foam rugby ball.

Catching some sun: The 35-year-old teamed her swimming costume with a pair of aviator sunglasses and a large baseball cap

The Academy Award winner obviously didn't fancy taking to the sea in her two piece despite the sunny weather.

Her husband, Jim Toth, was nowhere to be seen as the group relaxed on the beach, but no doubt he was nearby if the family had seen in the New Year together.

Reese is probably enjoying some down time with her husband and children before she begins promoting her latest film, This Means War, which is scheduled to be released on February 17.

'Being a single parent was so stressful': Reese Witherspoon says it's a relief to be remarried

By Chris Johnson

Alluring: Reese Witherspoon poses for this month's Marie Claire magazine and opens up in an accompanying interview

Reese Witherspoon has opened up about her struggle as a single parent following her divorce from Ryan Phillippe.

The 35-year-old actress says the years after the split were incredibly stressful - but reveals she now feels 'relief and an incredible amount of support' from her new husband Jim Toth, who she married in March.

Reese had two children with Cruel Intentions star Ryan - Ava, 12, and eight-year-old Deacon - before their eight-year marriage ended in divorce in 2007.

Speaking about the dark period that followed, the Oscar-winning Walk The Line star told Marie Claire magazine: 'I was hard on myself when I got divorced.

'And until I got remarried, I don’t think I realised how stressed I was.

'I feel so much relief. I don’t think I realised how stressed I was being a single parent. It was really, really stressful. It’s not easy on anybody.'

Pretty in pink: The Oscar-winning actress talks about her struggle as a single parent after her divorce and her relief at getting remarried

In early 2010 she started dating Hollywood talent agent Jim. They married at her sprawling California ranch in March.

Reese speaks lovingly of her new man in the interview with the U.S. edition of the magazine, gracing the cover looking pretty in pink while posing inside in an arty black and white shot with her legs on show.

She says she feels 'blessed' to have found love with Jim and talks up how great he is with her two children.

Happy again: Reese talks up how brilliant new husband Jim Toth is with her children Ava and Deacon, pictured today in Los Angeles

'You know, somebody close to me once said, "Oh, no man will ever accept your children." And I just thought it was the most horrifying thing someone has ever said to me in my entire life,' she said.

'I was determined to find somebody who would make that not true. And I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky, and he's wonderful. And so wonderful with the children. I'm very blessed.'

Reese met Ryan at her 21st birthday party. She married him aged 23.

Two years before their marriage was dissolved they attended marriage counselling.
But in 2006 they separated before their 2007 divorce, citing irreconcilable differences.
