..He is no stranger to romancing much older women and his fling with TV presenter Caroline Flack raised eyebrows over their 15 year age gap and it appears that Harry Styles certainly has a type.

And now it has been claimed that One Direction singer enjoyed a relationship with radio DJ Lucy Horobin, who is 14 years older than Harry.

The 18-year-old singer wooed the married broadcaster, 32, after his band appeared on the Key 103 radio show in Manchester in August last year, according to The Sunday Mirror.

The pair were said to have enjoyed a three-month fling, before Harry embarked on his relationship with Caroline, and even spent a night together in a hotel in Manchester.

Although Lucy was said to be still living with her husband a source claims they were 'virtually leading separate lives'.

Harry, who was then 17, was heard flirting with Lucy on air during another interview with the band in September.

A source close to Harry said: 'Lucy was right up his street, exactly the type of girl, or woman, should I say, he is attracted to. She's sexy confident and is doing well in her career. But he never wanted anything serious.'

Their relationship lasted just three months before it fizzled out in October and Lucy realised she wanted to try and make things work with her husband.

A source told the paper: 'She wanted to make a real go of her marriage and decided the only way to do that was to confess about Harry. She was terrified of admitting what she had done.'

'Although she believes she was separated from her husband at the time, she knew he would hate it. But she knew it was the only way of moving forward.'

Lucy, who has now left Key 103 and has since moved to Heart South Coast is said to be still together with her husband, who she married in the summer of 2010.

A spokesperson for Harry declined to comment on the story while Lucy did not respond to requests for a comment.

Harry's father, Des Styles, has revealed Harry has always been a heart breaker, even from a tender age.

The 54-year-old told The People: 'We went on holiday to Cyprus when Harry was eight and as we left there was a whole gathering of teenage girls, 16, and 17-year-olds by the side of the bus saying, 'Bye Harry. We love you.'

Harry's father has also spoken out about the moment he told his son he was leaving and said it was the worst day of his life.

He said: 'Harry was only about seven when I sat them down and told them I was leaving. Everybody was in tears.'

As well as speaking out about the moment his marriage broke down the sales director also revealed he gives his son girl advice.

He revealed: 'I said to Harry, "Just make sure you don't get anyone pregnant"'

'From a One Direction aspect it wouldn't be great for all sorts of reasons. Still I don't think it would bother him too much if he got a girl pregnant. He would be a responsible parent and get one with it.'
